Drills 1:
I asked her to go. از او خواستم برود
You asked her to go. از او خواستی برود
She/he asked her to go. از او خواست برود
We asked her to go. از او خواستیم برود
You asked her to go. از او خواستی برود
They asked her to go. از او خواستند برود
My father asked her to go. پدرم از او خواست برود
Your mother asked her to go. مادرت از او خواست برود
Her brother asked her to go. برادرش از او خواست برود
Your sister asked her to go. خواهرت از او خواست برود
People asked her to go. مردم از او خواستند برود
Her neighbors asked her to go. همسایه هایش از او خواستند برود
Her teacher asked her to go. معلمش از او خواست برود
Drills 2:
I hope you can come = امیدوارم بتوانید بیایید
I hope she can come = امیدوارم بتواند بیاید
I hope they can come => امیدوارم بتوانند بیایند
I hope your friend can come => امیدوارم دوستت بتواند بیاید
I hope the guests can come. امیدوارم مهمانان بتوانند بیایند
Guest = مهمان
Guests = مهمانان = مهمان ها
I hope everybody can come => امیدوارم همه بتوانند بیایند
Everybody = همه => this word comes with ‘plural from of verb’, like what we see in ‘they can come’.
My mother hopes she can come. مادرم امیدوار است او بتواند بیاید
My friend hopes your brother can come. دوستم امیدوار است برادرت بتواند بیاید
My friends hope you can come. دوستانم امیدوارند بتوانی بیایی
His family hopes you can come. خانواده ام امیدوار است بتوانی بیایی
Family = خانواده
His family = خانواده اش
Note: ‘ family’ is considered ‘singular’ in Persian. (just in grammar not in reality!!)
